Anytime you are doing any type of google search keep your eye on sites that show up on first page rankings. Look for Web 2.0 type sites that you can post your wares at. Especially classified sites. If those sites do well in google.then they will do well for you too.

Its called parasite hosting. Using someone else's site instead of your own, Obvious sites you can parasite from are Craigslist, Youtube, Wordpress, etc. The term parasite is a little harsh as these sites actually invite the web surfer to participate.

I make a nice income using web sites other than my own. And I don't have to do the tedious website creation and backlinking!

Free backlinks. Add your website to Yahoo Local get a ton of backlinks from Yahoo. Yahoo has a PR 9 by the way. Yahoo apparently caches the search results making them a static link and then they are indexed, giving you multiple backlinks from yahoo. Heres an example from a recent backlink check.

Today I want to talk to you about Google PageRank, and about how
you can actually create PageRank within your websites!

First things first: What is Google PageRank? It is an algorithm
created by the founders of Google to estimate the importance of web
pages. The basic idea behind the PageRank algorithm is the fact that
a link (also called hyperlink or backlink) from page A to page B can
be seen as a vote of trust from page A to page B. The higher the
number of links pointing to a page, the higher its PageRank, and the
higher its rankings inside Google's search results.

One detail that you need to keep in mind is that each link has a
specific value, which is determined by the PageRank of the page
where the link is located divided by the total number of outgoing
links on that page. For instance, if a page has a PageRank value of
8 and 4 outgoing links, each of those links will pass 2 points of
"link juice" (the calculations on the algorithm are more complex, but
this is the basic idea).

Most people focus on getting external links to increase their
PageRank, but they forget that internal links also pass link juice,
and this is how you can create PageRank within your websites.

Now let me use a simple example to illustrate the concept.

Suppose that you just created a website with one page only, the
homepage. At this point your website has a PageRank of 0, because it
is not even indexed by Google.

You then convince a friend to link to your website. The page where
the link is placed has a PageRank of 10 and 2 outgoing links, so
your website is receiving 5 points of link juice from that link.

The actual PageRank of your website will be 4.25, or 5 x 0.85. This
happens because Google applies a damping factor of 0.85 when it makes
PageRank calculations (this is necessary else the PageRank of two
pages linking to each other would grow to infinite).

If you then proceed to create a second page on your website, linking
to it from the homepage, that second page will have a PageRank of
3.61 (4.25 from the link it got from your homepage, multiplied by
0.85).

And there you go. By adding a second page to your site your managed
to actually create PageRank. The cool thing is that when you link
that second page to the homepage, they will be sending link juice
to each other, back and forth, until the damping factor kills
the effect.

Now don't worry if you haven't followed the maths. The takeaway
message is: every time Google indexes a new page from your
website, the total PageRank within your website will also increase.

Getting external links is obviously essential to having a high
PageRank, but increasing the number of pages that Google indexes
from your site can also help, and most people neglect this.

Finally, if you want to monitor how many pages Google is indexing
from your website, simply search for "site:yourdomain.com" on Google.

Content is King is a Lie

Content is King is the biggest lie in the business. You must have content but even spammers can access great content. There are a trillion websites all with great content being indexed by a machine. And that machine doesnt care about content because it cant read. It cares about backlinks and you dont have enough.

The thinking is if you have great content then folks will link to you. They may or may not. Even if they do this could take months. You can't compete like this. No one can. Some sites are getting thousands of links per day.

You can have over 5000 at your disposal without a lot of effort.

Pligg site submissions, Bookmarking, Blogs, directory submission. And it must be automated. Unless you want to sit in front of your pc 24/7.

Or pay someone to submit these for you. But cranking away at these one by one is a fast track to futility.

This month, Google published an official statement about low quality links in their webmaster blog. Here are the main statements:

Linking is a significant factor in Google's ranking algorithm but it is just one of many factors. Other factors are the content of your web pages, the site structure and the appearance of a keyword in the different web page elements.

If you have a high quality website and get links from spammy websites, try to contact the website owners and ask them to remove their links. Google will not help you with that.

It the webmasters of the spammy website are not cooperative, don't worry and focus on the links that are under your control.

So you have posted your video at YouTube, started a wordpress blog, or have a site at any of the several other Web 2.0 sites. Great start. Sometimes that is all you need to rank well for a niche. But imagine what your site would do with another 5000 backlinks. Especially if your competition hasn't bothered to build backlinks.

Heres a way to have around 5000 backlinks ready to go for any project you are doing. These figures are very conservative. Become aggressive and you could easily turn this ideas into 10,000 back links. Backlinks that YOU control.

1. Build 5 blogs at blogspot.com. Set them up so that you can blog from your email account. Add a link widget tothe sidebar of each one. Doesnt matter the content. We just want pages. You could do celeb news, politicalnews, jokes, your favorite hobbie, etc. There is plenty of content available for any subject. Don't make this hard or time consuming. I made a post about a Pligg list and a few hours later did a google search for Pligg list and my post was number 3 in the results. I got this idea from a person in India who did some backlink work for me. He was selling his signature file links on his 500 plus DP forum posts

500 Forum posts = 500 backlinks.

3. Create five subdomains on your own domain and put a wordpress blog on each one. Wordpress can be found under Fantastico in the cpanel. You can install the plugin wp-o-matic. Grab some RSS feeds and wp-o-matic will post to those blogs on autopilot every day. You can also manually post if need be.

Set your about page as a static home page and put your main content on that page. Your visitor wont necessarily see all of the posts when they come to your home page like on most blogs.

Link juicer says 900 links per month but I am seeing about 90. I like their service but will move on when someone else offers a similar service that does more links per month. Of course once you terminate your memebership your links will remain at the various bookmarking sites

5. Pligg-o-matic. Using Pligg-o-matic will intially require some sweat but once you are up and running you will have as many pligg sites to post to as you can register at. Of course each pligg site is on a seperate domain and IP address. Pligg sites are basically clones of the website Digg.com. Many of them are bookmarking sites that welcome your link. Pliggomatic is sold for a one time fee of $50. Working Pligg sites can be hard to find. I currently have a list of 300 I sell for a few shekels if you contact me.

Another option to Pligg I am currently looking into is Bookmarking Demon. It bookmarks not only to Pligg sites but several others including scuttle sites. SENuke is also a favorite among backlink builders. Bookmarking Demon costs only $147, and it's a ONE-TIME payment, but for SENuke you will have to pay $147 every month...

I have had more luck with formats other than my own website. This is called parasite hosting but is commonly accepted so it's not an issue as far as blackhat goes. You may have better luck signing up at a Web 2.0 site, put your website link on it and build links to the Web 2.0 site instead of your homepage and watch them rank. And you should have no fear in getting the Web 2.0 site blacklisted or penalized because google simply wont do it to Web 2.0 such as YouTube or similar sites. Google

owns YouTube. You can get terminated for a violation of TOS but not for heavy linking to a site google either owns or likes.
